It was a sweet surprise where I was waken up from my sleep at midnight. It is a nice sweet gesture. Friends sms-ed me to wish me and FB me too. Thank you to all of them for their sweet wishes.

ReplyDeleteyea.. he is sweet.. he was telling me that he does not have a present for me cause he is not sure what to get for me.. bla bla bla.. telling me not to be disappointed and no bench-mark.. so i jst gave him a smile.. but deep down in my heart was so sad. actually, we were looking out for wedding bands, then this pendant came to my sight.. haha.. found it nice, but it didn't match my previous chain. so had to get it with a new chain. so, he ended up getting this for my bday.. haha..

ReplyDeletebut i was abit worried cause it wasn't cheap.. it costs very close to SGD1k and that is alot..... so i really asked him to think properly before deciding.. but he decided... not really nice lar.. just trying to be understanding cause he hasn't gotten any exp presents from me at all except the electronic shaver which i got for him when we started dating. haha..
ReplyDeleteWah...that's expensive. It shows that you are being treasured. You are a nice and understanding girlfriend. Some girls want expensive gifts all the time. Even your mum said you are not like that..hahaha.
ReplyDeleteNo lar.. not all the time I want expensive stuffs.. Sometimes a gift with meaning is what we call priceless and most treasured.. I am just being understanding because with the current economic crisis, best to minimise the spending.

I just go for quality stuffs but for certain categories.. I wouldn't go for designer clothes cause I think it is really waste of money as it is easily perishable. Electronic gadgets, if well maintained, can be used for a long time.. so it is best to get quality items. Aaron already knows that cause the way he spends for the new place, he really planned it well. :-)
Even for the pendant, we asked alot of questions on the resale value.. so, it can be a "gold" if situations are bad.. but you got a BIG ring from Aaron mar.. I saw the ring.. Haha.. and VERY X also... so you see.. certain things have to go with the price..
I am the kind of person that sees things from the macro and micro view... Haha... (Watch Prison Break? We all should be like Michael Schofiled, then the world is a better place... but not all are as genius as him)
